This place is a hidden gem! The food is amazing and the jalepeño margaritas are out of this world! We come here weekly to get our tacos, margaritas, and Buffalo wings!
Been here a handful of times over the last two years, probably once a month the last few months though as this place is growing on me more. I tried the taco de birria today which inspired this 5 star review. The shredded beef was so good, and it came out sizzling hot with the melted cheese. The chips were fresh and salsa very good as well. We sat at the bar for lunch. Good little spot in Gorham in the center of town, walkable for anyone local.
Love this place! It's a very relaxed vibe in that you go up and order at the counter, where they are servicing take out orders too. But that's no problem. Great spot for a quick bite and the food is a really good price, very delicious and generous portions. The decor is also super fun with bright colours everywhere, particularly love the chairs. The only slight critique would be that you order food from one counter and then you have to go separately to order drinks from the bar, which is lined with chairs and people eating at it, so tricky to access. It would be good if you could figure out a system to order both at the same counter.
An absolute hidden gem✨️ If you're looking for a place that can do it all, come to Azul. The food, service and atmosphere is amazing! They almost always have room for big parties and offer something for everything (even chicken tenders and wings!). Please come try it out and support a great local business. You will not be disappointed 🙌
This place was amazing and they were playing Spanish club music so I was BOPPIN'. Their salsa was very good and unique, the burrito carne asada or whatever I got had really good steak and salsa verde, and the fajitas my partner got had way more tortillas than usual and the chicken was super tender.
Overall, I really like Azul Tequila. The portions are big for decent prices. I will say that once or twice the food was a miss (which is weird cause it wasn’t even new things we tried but the same item tasted completely different from one time to another). We’ve been back many times though!
No clean tables so We sat at a dirty (uncleared) table and pushed the previous occupants’ dishes to the side. The server brought our food and couldn’t be bothered to remove them. The place felt understaffed with poor morale. The food wasn’t bad but we won’t go back.
The food was OK, but not exceptional. They hand you a menu as you enter, you seat yourself, they bring chips and salsa (which were fine), you decide what to order, then go back up front where they take your order. Sit back down and in due time they deliver the food. Somewhere between counter serve and full serve restaurant. Prices were more full service prices, without the service. Soft drinks $3.50, but you snag a glass and fill from a machine. I was far from enchanted.
